Today’s crazy day theme was…..
sports day?
(S. was not impressed with what I put together and quickly grabbed my headband to add to his outfit),
M. was as usual a very excited participant.
Part B-
Part B is a double layer of blackout material (the outer curtain is lined too) that snaps together using magnets.
(let me add that our kids get up around 6:30)
Sewing in the magnets proved to be a little more complicated than I had originally thought. My brilliant idea was to hold the magnets in place with some double sided tape and sew around it on my machine. I neglected to consider that the magnet would stick to the base plate when I’m stitching along……not really paying attention……
I would recommend sewing in a pocket and inserting the magnet into the finished curtain. ( I would also stitch the pocket closed, especially around young children)
